This depends on the panel design. Some of our panels are manufactured slightly longer than 2400mm to allow for trimming during installation, while others are made to an exact size. If you’re unsure about a specific product, our Customer Support team will be happy to confirm the dimensions for you before you order.

No, we advise against installing panels behind radiators or heated towel rails, or near any direct heat source, as constant exposure may compromise their long-term durability.

All panels comprise of high-grade PVC, fashioned in a honeycomb structure to give the panels a lightweight, hollow, cellular core structure. They are not ply-backed or made from MDF.

The panels have a hollow cellular structure, made from high-grade PVC.

Painting is not recommended. The non-porous nature of PVC makes paint adhesion and durability problematic and the use of solvents can affect the integrity of the panels.

Yes, panels can be used for feature walls such as TV setups. Just ensure they are not installed near a direct heat source.

Yes, our PVC panels can be used in kitchens and as splashbacks. However, they should not be installed behind cookers and hobs, or any area with an open flame or high heat.

Yes, all shower panels and wall panels feature a tongue and groove system for a clean, seamless finish.

No, our PVC panels are not recommended for curved walls. Their tongue-and-groove design requires a flat/level substrate for proper alignment and to ensure a watertight seal.

Yes, bathroom fixtures and fittings can be installed on top of the panels, however, it is important to note that PVC panels are decorative, not structural, so care must be taken to avoid compressing the hollow construction of the panel when installing such items. All fixtures and fittings must be secured through the panel and into the substrate for stability.

For lightweight items we recommend you use appropriate screws or fixings, coupled with spacers that mirror the thickness of the panel. Using spacers will prevent over-tightening and stop the panel from getting crushed in the process.

For heavyweight items, ensure you have the appropriate support battens or substrate to accommodate the weight of the fixture and use spacers of equal depth to the panel to avoid compression during installation.

When you pierce the panels to install any fixture or fitting, it is imperative that you seal the area with silicone to create a watertight barrier. Failure to do so, especially in high-water areas, could allow water to penetrate through to the substrate and cause significant problems.

No, our 5mm panels have been discontinued in favour of the more popular 8mm wall panels. We also offer a range of 10mm shower panels for high water-prone areas.

Yes, PVC panels can be installed over painted walls if they are plumb and prepared appropriately. The exisiting surface must be dust, dirt, grease, and debris free. Any cracks, gaps, or holes should be suitably filled and sanded smooth.

A PVA Adhesive & Sealer should be used to prime the area - this will provide a dust-proof surface that will improve the adhesion of the panels. Please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions on the reverse of the container for dilution and mixing ratios when using a primer.

Yes, panels can be fitted directly over tiles. For best results, coat the tiles with a suitable primer to improve the adhesion of decorative wall panels. For optimum results, always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions when applying a primer.

No, panels are only available in full-size sheets. However, they can be trimmed on-site (indoors) to fit your space. Easy Panels doesn't offer panel cutting services.

No, the hollow construction of the panels means they are not designed to bear weight or withstand regular contact, which makes them unsuitable for use on furniture such as tables or other load-bearing surfaces.

Yes, panels can be cut and fit around most objects. Professional installation might be required based on complexity.

Yes, large tile-effect panels feature a textured grout line that adds depth and detail, creating a more realistic and authentic tile-like appearance once installed.

Our tile designs will repeat neatly at the joins if they are installed properly but our marble panels are designed to replicate an authentic marble slab and as such, the veins within the pattern do not seamlessly match across multiple panels.

No, we do not offer MDF versions of our bathroom panels. Only PVC panels are available in our bathroom panel range. Our AquaGuard panels, made from Polystyrene Composite, simulate the look and feel of MDF panels and are suitable for high-mouisture areas like bathrooms.

Yes, our 8mm bathroom wall panels are available in a taller 260cm height. Our 10mm shower panels, however, are only available in the standard 240cm height.

To keep your panels looking great, we recommend using a soft cloth or sponge (non-abrasive) and a mild detergent such as washing-up liquid, diluted in warm water.

Dampen the cloth with the cleaning solution and wipe down from top to bottom. Rinse thoroughly before drying the panels with a microfibre cloth to avoid any streaks.

Avoid using abrasive textiles or chemical cleaning products, as these will damage the protective coating and surface appearance of the panel.

We don’t specify a fixed lifespan for our panels, as their longevity depends on how they’re cared for. With regular, gentle cleaning and by avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, they can last for many years, whereas frequent use of strong or abrasive products may reduce their lifespan.

Both Classic and Premium shower panels are durable, with the Premium range offering enhanced scratch resistance for added protection and long-lasting appearance.

For optimal results when cutting PVC shower panels, we recommend using a fine-toothed handsaw. You'll find this essential tool available for purchase on our website.

Painting is not recommended, as bathroom paints or abrasive products will damage the surface and reduce the durability of the panels.

The widest panels we offer are 1M in width.

As the panels feature a tongue-and-groove design, they must be installed sequentially. We recommend a staggered layout to ensure a more natural appearance and optimal alignment, particularly for patterned designs.

No, all panels should be installed vertically to maintain their watertight integrity and proper performance. Horizontally installed increase the risk of water leakage.

Each individual panel is 250mm wide. A pack containing four panels will cover a total width of 1000mm.

Yes, 8mm and 10mm panels are fully waterproof and suitable for use in shower enclosures and other wet areas but we recommend using 10mm panels. 10mm panels are 1m in width while 8mm panels come in a pack of 4. 1M panels require less joins therefore less chances for water leakage while 8mm panels have 3 join per 1M. If installed properly, 8mm panels are as effective 10mm panels.

For maximum water resistance, it is recommended to apply a thin bead of silicone between the panel joints and along all edges within wet areas. This helps create a fully sealed and 100% waterproof installation, preventing water ingress and exte

When applying silicone, take care to avoid getting it on the face of the panels, as this may affect the finish and appearance. Any excess should be cleaned immediately with a damp cloth before it cures.nding the lifespan of the panels.

Yes, every slat is carefully finished with veneer on all three visible sides to maintain a consistent, high-quality appearance.

No, standard acoustic panels are not suitable for bathrooms or high-humidity areas, as moisture can compromise their integrity. For these environments, AquaGuard water-resistant slat panels offer a more suitable alternative.

Yes, acoustic panels can be installed on ceilings. For optimal safety and stability, we recommend securing them with screws.

Acoustic panels can be installed a in kitchen environment but they should not be placed near direct heat sources or areas of high humidity. Close proximity to cookers, radiators, log burners, electric fires and kettles may damage the panels.

Yes, panels can be installed on chimney breasts and media walls. However, they should not be placed near direct heat sources. For fitting around external corners or integrating with features like TVs or electric fires, please consult a professional installer.

To install lightweight fixtures, such as picture hangings, you will need to pierce the felt backing and affix to the substrate. We do not recommend using the wooden-slats on the panel to support any decorative fixtures. For heavy fixtures, such as TV mounts or shelving, please install these prior to fitting the panels and later cut the panel to accommodate such features.

Yes, acoustic panels are suitable for horizontal or vertical alignment.

Yes, acoustic panels come in four different heights: 1.2 m, 2.4 m, 2.6 m, and 2.8 m, allowing you to choose the option that best suits your space, design requirements, and acoustic performance needs.

LED strips can be installed between panels if they are designed for this use. Lighting components are not supplied by Easy Panels and should be sourced from a lighting specialist. For installation advice concerning LED strips, please contact your supplier.

For heavy fixtures, such as TV mounts or shelving, please install these prior to fitting the panels and later cut the panel to accommodate such features. To install lightweight fixtures, such as picture hangings, you will need to pierce the felt backing and affix to the substrate. We do not recommend using the wooden-slats on the panel to support any decorative fixtures.

Yes. When cutting your wood-slat panels to size, we advise using a fine-toothed handsaw for higher precision in place of powered tools. A finer cut will help to eliminate any spurs and splintered edges. A sharp Stanley knife can be used to slice the felt vertically.

The wooden slats are securely stapled to the felt backing to ensure a strong and durable fix; they are not glued, which allows for a more consistent finish and helps maintain the material’s acoustic performance over time.

Removal depends on the installation method. Panels fixed with screws can usually be taken down with minimal impact. Panels installed with adhesive may cause damage to the surface of the substrate during removal.

If you are wanting to install the panels over wallpaper, we’d suggest screwing them to the substrate. Wallpaper paste cannot be relied upon to provide the necessary strength required for the acoustic panels to adhere to. If your preference is to adhere the panels to the wall, you will need to remove the wallpaper prior to installation.

The panels come with installation instructions but screws and adhesive must be purchased separately.

Our acoustic panels are 60cm wide and available in four heights; 120cm, 240cm, 260cm and 280cm. Custom sizes are not available at this time.

To keep your panels looking great, we strongly recommend to use a soft and dry lint-free cloth that will prevent scratches while capturing dust particles. A telescopic duster can also be used to manage those hard-to-reach areas. Avoid using rough materials or any moisture on the panels. If preferred, you can vacuum the recess between the slats using a slim end attachment to capture the nooks where dust tends to accumulate.

Yes – they are suitable for humid rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens, thanks to their moisture-resistant composite base and wood-effect finish.

However, they are splash-proof rather than fully waterproof, so they are not recommended for installation in areas with direct, continuous water contact (such as inside a shower enclosure).

AquaGuard panels aren’t suitable for use inside shower enclosures or in areas with constant, direct water exposure. While they’re splash-resistant, the joints aren’t fully watertight, so we recommend using them outside the shower area for best results.

AquaGuard panels are designed to be installed using adhesive, which gives the best and safest result. Because of the material they’re made from, using screws can cause the panels to crack or become damaged, so screw fixing isn’t recommended. Adhesive installation helps ensure a smooth, secure finish.

Although they have a similar wood-slat look, AquaGuard panels and acoustic panels are made for different purposes. AquaGuard panels are designed to be moisture-resistant and decorative, making them ideal for bathrooms and other humid spaces. Acoustic panels, on the other hand, are specially constructed to absorb sound and improve acoustics, using different materials to achieve this.

AquaGuard panels are designed for their look rather than sound performance. While the slatted design may slightly soften sound reflections in a room, they don’t offer true sound-dampening or acoustic insulation.

No, our AquaGuard panels are not made of wood. They are manufactured from a water-resistant polystyrene composite core with a wood-effect textured finish. While they realistically replicate the look of real wood (such as “American Oak”), they contain no solid wood or timber veneer, making them suitable for moisture-prone environments.

Wall and shower panel trims, also known as mouldings or accessories, are finishing pieces used around wall panelling. While they are not essential, they do help create a cleaner, more polished look and can improve the overall finish of your installation.

PVC trims play an important role in both the look and protection of your panels. They help tidy up corners by covering rough or uneven cuts, screws, gaps, and joins, giving your installation a clean and professional finish.

PVC trims play an important role in both the look and protection of your panels. They help tidy up corners by covering rough or uneven cuts, screws, gaps, and joins, giving your installation a clean and professional finish.

In wet areas, PVC trims help create a water-resistant seal around panel edges and provide a neat transition between walls and surfaces, helping to keep your installation secure and long lasting.

External Angle Trims are designed to finish and protect external corners and edges where two surfaces meet at a right angle. They are especially useful in high-traffic areas, helping to prevent scuffs, chips, and accidental damage from everyday wear, including knocks from cleaning equipment.

End cap trims, also known as starter trims, J trims, or end U profiles, play an important finishing role when installing wall or shower panels. They are used to neatly finish exposed panel edges, most commonly along the top or sides.

These trims cover the raw edge of the panel, help prevent moisture from getting behind it, and create a clean, professional-looking finish for your installation.

External Corner Trim (sometimes called outer or outside corner trim) is a finishing profile used at 90° external corners where two wall panels meet.

Internal Corner Trim (also called inside-corner or internal angle trim) is a finishing profile designed to cover and seal the inside edges where two wall panels meet at a 90° internal corner. If you’d rather add a corner trim later, and internal corner quadrant can be retrofitted at a later date.

H Trim, also known as H Channel or H Molding, is a joining profile used in wall, ceiling, and panel installations. Its distinctive H shape allows two panel edges to slide neatly into each side, creating a clean, flush, and durable joint.

H Trim can also be used to extend the vertical length of shower panels, helping to achieve a seamless and professional-looking finish.

Coving (also known as cornice molding or coving moulding) is a decorative trim installed at the junction where the wall meets the ceiling. It adds both aesthetic elegance and practical benefits to interior spaces.

Yes, we offer two chrome trims suitable for window edges. The standard Chrome External Corner Trim must be installed at the same time as your panels.

For more flexibility, the 25mm x 25mm Chrome External Corner Trim can be retrofitted after installation, making it ideal for tricky areas like windows.

There is no dedicated top trim for acoustic panels, but a standard end trim is often used along the top edge to provide a clean, finished look.

End trims can be used around chimney breasts, however for the best finish, particularly around corners, we recommend speaking with our technical team for tailored fitting advice. You can contact them on 01685 378404 and they’ll be happy to help.

EasySeal is a dedicated shower tray trim designed to be used where the panel meets the shower tray. It creates a clean, neat finish while also helping to form a waterproof seal.

A key benefit of EasySeal is that it neatly conceals the silicone sealant, so even if the sealant isn’t applied perfectly, it won’t be visible once the trim is in place. This helps achieve a more professional-looking result with less effort.

EasySeal trims are available in our Shower Tray Trims Collection.

10mm trims can be purchased from our Trims Collection and are compatible with all 10mm shower panels.

Our trims are sold separately, but their lengths are designed to match the panels you’re purchasing. For example, if you’re buying 8mm wall panels that are 2.6 m long, you should order 8mm trims, which are also 2.6 m. Likewise, 10mm shower panels at 2.4 m pair with 10mm trims that are 2.4 m long. As long as you choose the correct trim size (e.g., 8mm or 10mm), the trim length will always correspond to your panel height for a proper fit.

All of our vinyl click floor panels are water-resistant and suitable for use throughout the home, including kitchens and bathrooms. However, they are not fully waterproof. To preserve their integrity and appearance, avoid prolonged exposure to standing water and clean up any spills promptly.

Yes, ceiling panels can be installed in any room. Ensure they are not placed near direct heat sources and follow installation and maintenance guidelines for best results.

Yes, our Easy Panels High Strength Cladding Adhesive is suitable for use with all the panel types we sell, including Acoustic and Aquaguard Panels.

Yes, the adhesive can be used to install shower panels on plywood. Apply a 50/50 mix of PVA and water to the plywood first to create a key coat and allow it to dry completely before applying adhesive. Alternatively, panels can be fixed using drywall screws if preferred.

The date stamp on the adhesive tube indicates the manufacturing date. It is not an expiry date.

Yes, the adhesive will bond to ceramic or glossy tiles—but only if the surface is properly sanded and primed with a 50/50 mix of PVA and water and allowed to dry fully beforehand.

Yes this is something we strongly recommend when installating shower/wall panels, silicone is used to seal the edges which guarentees a waterproof installation.

Prime ceramic tiles with a 50/50 mix of PVA and water. Allow the coat to dry completely before applying adhesive to ensure a strong, long-lasting bond.

Yes, certain panels can be fixed using screws, adhesive, or a combination of both, depending on your wall surface, installation preference and panel type.

Acoustic panels can be installed only with screws as long as the screws are drilled through the black felt lining. We do not recommend drilling screws in the wood lats directly.

PVC panels can be instealled using screws but we recommend using sealant around the screwholes to prevent any water leakage. We do recommend using some adhesive though as PVC panels can be too heavy for the screws and wall.

We do not recommend using screws for AquaGuard panels as these material they are made from will crack. Only adhesive should be used to AquaGuard panels.

Rawl plugs are only needed if you're fixing screws into masonry or other solid surfaces. If you're fixing into timber battens or plasterboard with appropriate backing, rawl plugs are not required.

The amount of adhesive you’ll need depends on the condition of your wall. For smooth, flat surfaces, we generally recommend around three tubes of adhesive per shower panel or wall panel pack.

Acoustic panels usually require two tubes of adhesive per panel.

If your walls are uneven or in poorer condition, you may need up to four tubes per shower panel to ensure a secure fit.
